9:30 AM – Legends & Cocoa

Explore the historic Count de Lopinot Estate with a guided tour of the legendary tomb and the captivating story behind it. Sample rich, locally made chocolate and traditional cocoa tea, as you immerse yourself in the vibrant history and sweet flavours of Trinidad’s cocoa heritage.

11:00 AM – The Cocoa Dance Experience

Prepare to be enchanted by the magic of cocoa at its source. Discover the cocoa tree, its cultivation, and the artisanal transformation from bean to bar.  Join in the traditional “Dance the Cocoa” — a lively, foot-stomping step once used to polish dried beans — and witness the fermentation, drying, roasting, and grinding that produce world-renowned Trinidadian chocolate.

12:30 AM – Flavours of Lopinot

2:00 PM – Echoes of Steel and Legacy

The tour final stop is at the Supernova Steel Orchestra, where guests are immersed in the rhythmic soul of Lopinot. Here, the legacy of master arranger Dr. Jit Samaroo lives on through vibrant steelpan melodies. Visitors will also pay tribute at his final resting place, a serene space that honours his unmatched contribution to Trinidad and Tobago’s musical heritage.
