9:00 AM – Arrival at Pitch Lake, La Brea

Welcome to the world’s largest natural asphalt deposit, the La Brea Pitch Lake. Embark on a guided tour of this geological wonder, where you’ll learn about its formation, cultural significance, and the science behind its constantly shifting surface. Walk on the soft, tar-like terrain, see bubbling water pools, and hear fascinating stories of how locals use the lake for medicinal purposes. 10:00 AM – Depart Pitch Lake, La Brea

11:45 AM – Depart Neighbourhood Grill and Bar

12:00 PM – Arrival at Balka Devi Mud Volcano & WWII Bunker

Step into the fascinating world of the Balka Devi Mud Volcano, an active geological site known for its bubbling mud pools and natural formations. Explore the mini-museum, where you’ll learn about the science and folklore surrounding this rare phenomenon. Afterward, continue your historical exploration by venturing into the Green Hill underground WWII bunker. 12:45 PM – Depart Balka Devi Mud Volcano

1:00 PM – Arrival & Exploration of the Great Icacos Lagoon

1:30 PM – Depart Icacos Lagoon

1:45 PM – Visit to the Southwestern Tip of Trinidad & Columbus Bay

Arriving at Icacos, the last village before Venezuela, you’ll witness a dramatic shift in landscape, where coconut plantations meet the open sea. A highlight of this stop is Columbus Bay, known for its golden beaches, towering rock formations, and historical significance as one of Christopher Columbus’ landing sites.
